Stephen L. Plant, senior partner
Stephen was born in Ottawa, Ontario in May of 1949 and moved with
his family in 1967 to BC. In 1969 he joined the Weyerhauser
Company as a General Accounting Clerk. In 1975 he became a
designated Certified General Accountant.
Stephen spent 12 years with the Weyerhauser Corporation; he left
in 1981 and moved to Vancouver to pursue other career
opportunities. In 1982 Stephen joined the Allied Signal
Corporation (formerly Bendix) as an Accounting Manager and within
a year was promoted to Financial Controller of the Western
Division.
In 1987 Stephen left Allied to form his own accounting and tax
consulting company. Since then, he and his wife Virginia have
built profitable accounting, tax and business consulting
companies.
Stephen has varied interests in his personal life. He is very
active in sports. He plays, coaches and officiates several sports.
He loves collecting movies and music. He and his wife enjoy
traveling.
