History
Working with small and medium sized businesses in the early 1990s, Donna Willon discovered that many of the companies she encountered struggled to build a solid foundation upon which their business could grow and prosper. Believing strongly that networking was the key, in 1994 Donna decided to put her 25 years of business management expertise to work helping others and became a pioneer in the field of networking with the establishment of Focused Networking™ Ltd. (FNL).
Within three months three additional chapters
opend across the Lower Mainland and by 1996, with
eight chapters and over 200 members, Focused Networking™ was the
Lower Mainland’s answer to networking for the business
professional.
Well respected in the business community, FNL helps members create dynamic business growth through effective
business relationships. They truly live up to their name and
slogan.
Philosophy
We believe it is important for the small
business person to build strong relationships, create strategic
alliances and share business opportunities.
We believe there is enough business for
everyone and success means teamwork: means less me, more we. By
working as a team and honoring our creativity and
entrepreneurship, we are the community minded providers of
business information and related services.
Vision
Our vision is to help individuals prosper
through business networking. Networking is the process of
developing and nurturing personal and professional contacts in
order to share referrals, information, support and energy.

Mission
Focused Networking exchanges referrals and
shares business with all members to assist them in their business
growth. Our mission is to improve members’ economic welfare
through an educational and social forum and to become community
minded providers of business information and related services.
USP
What makes our programs unique?
1. Only one company per industry is represented in each group.
2. Groups are supportive and non-threatening. We do not require
group members to bring a fixed number of referrals to each
meeting.
3. The focus of meetings is to develop and nurture personal and
business skills.
4. Training and education are key components of our
programs.
The Future
We can only grow as fast as you do because at
Focused Networking™ relationships come first. Our vision includes
a network of networks spanning the continent as we inspire others
to nurture relationships and share their energy and support. After
all, anything is possible. Our donations
We are proud to support TB Vets as our
