Getting What Matters Most Tip #6
Keep Your Goals Visible
“The person with a fixed goal, a clear picture of his desire, or an ideal always before him, causes it, through repetition, to be buried deeply in his subconscious mind and is thus enabled, thanks to its generative and sustaining power, to realize his goal in a minimum of time and with a minimum of physical effort. Just pursue the thought unceasingly. Step by step you will achieve realization, for all your faculties and powers become directed to that end.” — Claude M. Bristol
Increase your focus on your goals by making copies of them and posting them in places you frequent during the day. Write out your affirmations so you can refer to them often. If you can create a symbol to represent your goal, so much the better. Put your icons on your bathroom mirror, your fridge, in your car, on your desk, by your telephone and even on the TV. If they are in sight, they are in mind.
“It’s the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.” — Claude M. Bristol
