WHY SHOULD I NETWORK AND WHY WITH LINKEDIN

The purpose of networking is to raise our visibility and increase our business

When you take the time to learn the advantages and the advantages of networking and the processes – LinkedIn can really help you get exposure, credibility and business.
Did you know that 70 percent of jobs are found through networking?  Even more interesting is that referrals generate 80 percent more results than cold calling.  Why?
Because when you build a new relationship, you open the door to business.  Building good business networking referrals and direct business is just good sense.  However, it is important to understand the value, benefits and fundamentals of business networking before trying to see how LinkedIn can be of benefit to you
On the professional side, business networking is all about making contacts and meeting people who can benefit from your product or service.  It is also about meeting new people who offer a product or service you can benefit from using.  It’s a two way street with a focus on building relationships.
It’s important to remember that networking isn’t something that brings immediate gratification.  It’s about nurturing lasting friendships and solid business relationships that help you to truly know the person you are dealing with.  Once you achieve a certain level of comfort, you will feel confident in giving them qualified referrals and they’ll feel the same.
If you could tap into a business resource of 50 plus years of business experience, would you?  Well with an established business network you can.  Your personal network can provide an awesome learning opportunity and a stable support system.
With your LinkedIn network, you can create ambassadors who will recommend you and connect you with potential prospects.  You can also make connections through your second connections and through groups.
Isn’t that worth the time to build really good solid business relationships?  Don’t make networking a numbers game – make it about building solid relationship
Networking and LinkedIn Tip:  Be sincere; be on the lookout for how you can help other people.  Focus on “we not me”
