How To Get More Results On LinkedIn
Here is a short tip for you – how to get found more easily on LinkedIn.
How do you get ‘More Results On LinkedIn’ (or on any other search engine)?
For example, if a prospective client is searching for a local mortgage broker, real estate agent, business coach or any other business or occupation, how will they find the individual on LinkedIn?
Through keywords.
Make sure that your profile uses keywords that direct potential clients and/or prospective employers your way. If you are a mortgage broker, for example, you could use the keyword Vancouver Mortgage Broker in your title, in your summary, in your work experience and in your education listing. By using accurate (in terms of how the keywords describe your work), in-demand keywords, you will be found more often and for the right, or best-fit, ‘matches’ or connections. If you use general, non-specific keywords, you will be hard to find on the LinkedIn search engine –unless people searching for a specific business or occupation already know your name.
